Waiting for the Moon

In the heart of the night
夜深之际
At the edge of a wood
森林的尽头
Alone on a branch, there sits a bird
一只鸟儿独立枝头
With it's head turned to the side
它的头转向一侧
One eye fixed on the sky
一只眼睛望向天空
Quiet as a breath, the moonbird waits
安静到能听到呼吸,月莺默默等待着

等待那轮月亮的出现
Waiting for the moon to show
它那柔和的银色光晕
Its soft silver glow
撒向那独立枝头的鸟儿
To the bird who sits
在天穹下的黑幕中等待着
Waiting in the dark below
等待那轮月亮的升起
Waiting for the moon to rise
她的光芒能触摸到天际
For it's light to touch the skies
填满那月莺的眸子
And fill the moonbird's eyes
也将喜悦填满它的心
And it's heart with delight
夜复一夜

月莺等待着
And so night after night
独立着,不曾察觉
The moonbird waits
那呼啸的冷风
Sitting unaware
最终她们相见之时
Of the cold winds that blow
整个夜晚
And when at last they meet
听得到那甜美的啼鸣
All across the night
那月莺的歌声
Can be heard the sweet sound
等待那轮月亮的出现
Of the moonbird's song
