Old Pen

I met an old man
我遇见了一位老者
I said tell me your story
我问他过去的故事
He took out an old pen
他拿出一支旧钢笔
And wrote somethin' for me
然后为我写了些字
Then he kept walking on down the road
而后他继续向前走
And I watched him disappear like smoke
我目睹他似迷雾散尽般消失于人海
And I thought I'd just seen a ghost
我觉得方才似乎看见的是一副躯壳
Then I looked down at what he'd wrote
所以我低头看看他写了什么
It said son when you grow up you'll be fine
上面写着 孩子 当你长大后 一切都会好的
I know you've got questions on your mind
我知道你脑海中仍有谜团无法解开
Life is gonna happen one way or the other
该发生的总会来临
Whether you like it or not
无论你翘首以盼还是避而不见
Stop looking for the answers and you'll find what you've got
或许不急于求成 才会发现 拥有如此之多

一生只为追求光耀
I took out an old pen
我拿出一支旧钢笔
And wrote him my story
缓缓写下我的故事
Then I kept walking on down the road
之后我继续沿路而行
When your time is up, it's time to go
时间已到 就不宜停驻
I pray he reads what's on the note
我祈祷他的未来会如便条上的一样
And takes to heart what I wrote
