By the sand and fire light
While watching the fallin star
Came a lady from the night
Who started playin on my guitar
She was like a melody
That no one had ever heard
When she sang her magic song
I had to listen to every word
But she made me see
Like I never had before

And I thought of what the future would bring
By the stars and fire light
The music was sweet and clear
Though I had her to myself
I was afraid someone else would hear
Soon the other heard her playin
Started to gather round
One by one they started stayin
Cause they couldnt believe the sound
And she made them see

I see her every now and then
In movies and on

I sit there watchin
