Laid down for a late night trip

But it's different this time, I'm distracted by feels
I watched you in corner, having laugh with your friends
Then one asked 'Do you love her?' My first thought was 'Yes'
But I didn't say it loud, 'I don't know' was my answer
One can say how obvious was it, didn't matter
Skip forward and you stood right in front of my heart
And within blink of an eye you were there in my arms
It was the dead of the night, the room was so dark

Then our lips met together, it happened so fast
But couldn't have felt any better, wanted these seconds to last
Though nothing good is here forever, so as the moment passed
I left six feet below heaven and it dived into past

And this very night was the time when I saw it clear
