-- another ace 60s tab from Andrew Rogers
Second-greatest frat-rocker ever ( do I need to tell you whats #1?);
according to Dave Marsh, it sounds like it was recorded live at Animal
House. Originally done in the late 50s by **** Holler and the Holidays,
and covered in 1966 by both the K-Otics and the Swingin Medallions, the
latter of whom took it all the way to #17 that summer. And as for Holler
himself, he went on to write Abraham, Martin, and John - which goes to
show you never can tell. --AWR
