bang on the piano

Bang On The Piano
i wonder if you could be my therapy
its kind of awkward but obvious
its what i need
im not michelangelo painting a ceiling
but youre the last shade of red that ill be missing
theres not a pill that i cant take
youre just a habit that i cant break oh
ill bang on this piano till the feelings come
im standing on the edge but my feet cant jump
stumbling the words on the back of my tongue
but i wont stop till the feelings have gone
its bout four in the morning still cant sleep
and that blanket wrapped around you wish that was me
but im just one more cynical dreamer
i never dream like this
im pulling out my hair
pretending i dont care
theres not a pill that i cant take
youre just a habit that i cant break, oh
ill bang on this piano till the feelings come
im standing on the edge but my feet cant jump
stumbling the words on the back of my tongue
and i wont stop until the feelings have gone
i dont need to know where were going
ill just be the scream and let it out
i can feel the music flowing
i cant feel it, never felt like this
ill bang on this piano till the feelings come
im standing on the edge but my feet cant jump
stumbling the words on the back of my tongue
and i wont stop until the feelings have gone
