Don't Let It Break Your Heart (Track By Track)
This was a single I was really excited to release, one that I’m really proud of.
The song itself was another one of those songs that talking about hope and seeing that glass is half full.
Emm, and we probably wrote this song about 12 months ago and it’s one of those that I ’ve been sang out for a little while that I was really excited for the fans to hear.
I performed it for the first time in ,umm, in Madrid and it was a great reaction from that.
Umm, and then performed it at another gig ahead in Mexico and again ,incredible reaction.
Umm, so that one’s a bit of, eh,a bit of the song for fans really.
Yeah so then that,I always come back to this song is the opening riff on the elecric guitar.
I think it’s , uh, really beautiful, really well-done by Rable I think, came out with that.
Umm, and yeah, just one of those songs that I think, you know, you gotta let the melody and let the lyric do the talking.
I think there’s a , umm, credibility to the lyrics.
I stand out lyric for me, umm, on this song in the second verse, start of the second verses, says:
”it comes,it goes. We’re driving down on a one-way road to something better.”
Everytime I listen to this song, that language kinds of stands out to me.
Umm, I think it’s thought-provoking.
I think it’s interesting, so, yeah.
