A mule is an animal with long funny ears
馬騾啊，是一種有著滑稽大耳朵的“動物”（其實是在嘲諷某些人啦，後面的動物應該都是這種詼諧的比喻）
Kicks up at anything he hears
把所有他聽到的東西踢飛
His back is brawny but his brain is weak
他就是傳說中的四肢發達，頭腦簡單
Hes just plain stupid with a stubborn streak
其實吧，馬騾就是單純的愚蠢加上固執罷了（令人討厭不是嗎）
And by the way, if you hate to go to school
哦對了，隨便一提，假如你討厭上學
You may grow up to be a mule
那你以後就是一隻又蠢又討人嫌的騾子了（大噓）

A pig is an animal with dirt on his face
豬是那種會把泥土搞得滿臉都是的“動物”（上一條翻譯解釋過為什麼翻成動物）
His shoes are a terrible disgrace
他的鞋子上沾滿了恥辱的象徵
He has no manners when he eats his food
他吃飯的時候毫無吃相
Hes fat and lazy and extremely rude
這種動物（人）
But if you dont care a feather or a fig
但是如果你從來不注意細節（這個比喻很有意思啊，雖然值翻應當是“羽毛和無花果”，但是，羽毛這種很輕的物品可以指細枝末節的事情，fig也有同樣的意思，大家mark一下啊，這個修辭蠻好的）
You may grow up to be a pig
那你最終就會變成一頭豬了

魚是種極度麻木的“動物”，就只會在小溪里面游泳
He cant writehis name or read a book
他不會讀寫
To fool the people is his only thought
他只想著耍滑頭企圖欺騙別人
And though hes slippery, he still gets caught
但是就算他再怎麼耍滑頭，因為他自身的愚蠢，所以老是被識破
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
但是如果你希望過著這種朝不保夕，麻木不仁的生活
You may grow up to be a fish
那麼你可能就會變成一條魚了
A new kind of jumped up slippery fish
而且是一種新型的會跳的滑溜溜的，噁心的魚哦~
And all the monkeys arent in the zoo
是這樣，並非所有猴子都在動物園裡
Every day you meet quite a few
你會在你的生活中遇見大量的行為舉止令人厭惡，自私自利的人
So you see its all up to you
